Yesterday Mr. Tim had a little help teaching the story of Zaccheus. Since the virtue of the month is honesty he focused on people's perception of the tax collector as a dishonest person. Our bottom line was Honesty builds up friendships, dishonesty tears them down. as you'll see in pictures below we had a great time watching some small group teams build a whipped cream ice cream cone only to have them "torn down" by the leaders. Congratulations to Dan Richter who managed to tear his down in one bite.

To further this discussion at home (because what happens at home is more important than what happens at church) use the Fridge Door page or God Time book your child received in class. If this has been misplaced head over to BVC's new website (www.bellavistachurch.org) and go the Children's Ministry page where you can download a new one.
